Devil FM Genk playing the Barca way

2Feb/132

Back after a long time.

Hello!
I am back on FM Crowd after  almost a year. I had other priorities and couldn't find much time to blog. Now i am back and will be soon starting a new story in FM 2013. I haven't yet decided the team which I would manage but i want a different experience this year. I am looking for leagues that I've never managed.
Last year i took up a story with Russian side Dinamo Moscow and played  about seven seasons with them. I managed to secure players like Pavlyuchenko, Adryan, Andujar and Mario Suarez. These players along with several Russia young players helped me to win the Russian Premier Division for an astonishing 5 times in a row! The Russian Cup was also won twice. The European campaigns weren't so rewarding and after setting an initial target of winning the Champions League, I realized it was very difficult winning with a Russian team. The foreign player rules affect your progress and make it difficult to compete against Europe's finest especially in the Knockout stages. All these factors made me lose interest in this save and i stopped playing it.

Now I want to try out my career in either Austria, Germany, Turkey, Ireland or even start unemployed.
I will post about the team i choose and my objectives in the next post.

  1. Thanks. I chose Dusseldorf in the German League. Hope to have a crack against Bayern and Dortmund.

  2. Welcome back, having managed in Austria, Germany and Ireland, I can tell you what they’ll all like.

Austria is decent if you manage a top side like Rapid Wien or Red Bull Salzburg.
Germany is decent as well but it’s less than a challenge compared to the others.
Ireland is a good challenge but will take a long time to have some European success.
Turkey I imagine would be quite good as Galatasaray have a strong hold there so overtaking them could be a good challenge.
